Some people are working this Good Friday, while others won’t be (and are probably going to have a Great Friday).
For those of us who WILL be working, it’s good to have a list of shops open. Some people will be open for half days (leaving after lunch) so we have split up the list into two with partials closing around lunchtime.

I hope everyone has a good weekend, whenever that may start!
We don’t like having to work on holidays, especially national ones, but it is completely unavoidable sometimes. That’s why it’s helpful to have a list of stops you can call when everyone seems closed.

Stay dry out there, and have a good weekend!
When is a ‘Dead End’ a good thing? When you need real stuffed animals or hides and you end up at ArtKraft Taxidermy Rentals. They are known for their museum-quality big game mounts and more, all collected by world-renowned hunter Frank G. Carlis. From antelopes to zebras ArtKraft rents it’s inventory of taxidermy to companies for film and TV productions, commercials and print ads.
You can view the collection on ArtKraft’s website, where you’ll find the game divided into categories such as Teeth & Claws, Exotics, Hooves & Horns and Feathers.
In late 1998, I met a hunter who had the most amazing trophy room tucked away in a group of buildings in North Hollywood. When you entered the room, you felt as if John Wayne and every Hollywood leading man had been sitting on the same sofa talking about their ‘big game experience.’
Years have passed, but I never forgot that room.
Today, ArtKraft Taxidermy Rentals still rents museum-quality taxidermied animals. Everything really, from antelopes to zebras, for film and TV productions, commercials, print ads and themed events. If you need a stuffed animal of any kind, chances are you will find it at ArtKraft.Website: www.artkrafttaxidermy.net
