Creature and character designers across the country participated in the fourth annual Monsterpalooza held at the Marriott in Burbank this past weekend. They all came to show off what they do best. Scare people.
Artists who create everything from monster masks to full-sized, realistic monsters and ghoulish zombies exhibited their talents. Suppliers of monster clay, mask making and dental kits, silicone tooling specialties and more also exhibited their supplies for prop fabrication, molding and painting. There was also a healthy dose of lifelike body parts and lively animatronics (automaton).
So if you are a part of the Vampire craze, everything scary, or are truly interested in advancing the creative art that is the horror genre, check out this event next year. You will not regret it.
